The Hate of the World

Because of the recent decisions I’ve made concerning the work that I can do, I have peered into the face of hate.

I have seen the devil in his unfiltered form and how wicked he and his minions can be. It’s no surprise that in the times of the patriarchs, they were slaughtered, imprisoned, tortured, scrutinized, and, above all, hated by the people of this world.

If it were legal, I’m convinced I would be dead already. Even illegal, I feel the target on my back, the laser beams locked as prying eyes watch from the shadows.

In moments like these, you realize how much the Lord loves you. How much He protects you from, and how much love He has to offer.

In moments like these, you also see the spirit of the anti-Christ and how many people it has under its spell.

You can see the hate.

John 15: 18 - 27 says, “If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

These are the hard-hitting topics Christians don’t usually talk about. This concept of hatred either scares them or is too harsh to handle, resulting in them either ignoring the matter or sugarcoating the gospel to avoid the scandal. But God does not ask us to sugarcoat his word.

He asks us to believe it and speak it.

The word of God is sweetened enough, for the mouth at least, before it turns bitter in the belly. Speak the word of God as He gave it to us, not in the way that the world would like to hear it, for if the world loves it, it is not of God but of the world.

“Remember the word I said unto you: The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”

The Christians get just as mad at me as the atheists do. The reason is that most lack the backbone this message requires, or they have manipulated it to the point that it is of no effect and is more than the devil’s than God’s. They do not keep His sayings, spirit, fruits, or works.

They choose to fill their pockets rather than face persecution.

I get it, though. I understand the decision. I have entertained the very same thoughts, especially recently when thinking about the evangelical approach, given the persecution and punishment I have experienced.

I have considered taking the easier way.

But how could I live with myself if I was not living for others?

We are not greater than God. We must attain the promises of the Word, both positive and negative. We want the blessings yet don’t want the challenge we must face to obtain them.

This is a dangerous way of thinking, given Satan can offer worldly blessings just as much as God, if not more.

“If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law; they hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.”

The atheists say, ‘There’s no love like Christian hate,’ which is an ironic saying said in the most hateful spirit by those who claim they bring the better walk of life while we prophesy the love of God. To counter, if our love is hate, I would hate to see your idea of love, for there is no hate like the devil’s distaste, repeated by the drones who read from their scripts and are known as confused and miserable servants.

Understand, I don’t say this with hatred. This is merely a disheartening observation I have made from my experiences.

It grieves me, bothers me, how lost the world is. How willing they are to spew venom as hypocrites who criticize love while acting as harbingers of evil. These are the same people who then imprisoned the patriarchs or tortured them until death, who detained me through censorship and cowardice while torturing me with the fact that I cannot speak to the people through one of many avenues the Lord has provided. The number of times I have been criticized, ridiculed, made fun of, and attacked for my looks, my wife, my faith, and above all, the word of God is not only a staggering amount but one that should bring shame to their organization.

At first, I asked, “How can these representatives hope to make conversions with this kind of approach?” Now, I only ask, “How does it work on so many? How do they fall into this trap? What more can I do to help those who will listen not fall into the jaws of the lion?”

We do what we can with what we’ve been given. That’s all we can do, for hatred is the expectation when it is us who bears witness.

We, the predestinated few, cry out to those who know the voice while sharing the place in time that was the beginning beside God, creating man in His image and being the first and the last.

The Spirit of Truth is known by the chosen. Those who have that deep that calls to the deep, especially in a world that calls the truth hate while propagating lies as facts.

There is only one constant, one truth, one way, one life, one word, one God, one body, one bride, and His name is Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever—God made flesh—the living word who lives within us and we in Him.

I am motivated by knowing that whoever I cry out to will hear the voice behind the voice, the truth among the lies, and life in a world of death.

I am comforted in knowing there is still love in a world of hate that they can see in us.

Until next time, may God richly bless you.
